Yucca Fries

Cedella Marley has been cooking up some wonderfully spicy fries with the twist – Yucca fries!  Serve with Smoky Coffee Chipotle Ketchup (see below).


  • 3-4 Yucca (cassava) peeled and cut into spears
  • Garlic seasoned salt
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Coco’Mon™ Original Coconut Oil – enough for frying


1. Season the water with garlic salt and cayenne and soak the yucca in enough water to cove. While the yucca is soaking, prepare the smoky chipotle coffee ketchup.


2. Heat the coconut oil at a medium-high heat.


3. Drain seasoned water off the Yucca and fry in oil until golden brown and soft in the center.


4. Remove fries to a a plate lined with paper towels.


5. Sprinkle hot fries with garlic salt & serve with the Smoky Chipotle Coffee Ketchup.



Smoky Chipotle Coffee Ketchup


  • ½ strong brewed Marley Coffee, black
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce –minced


1. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl.
